China Marks will be having a lecture titled 'Whats the Story, Morning Glory?' at The Foosaner Art Museum in Central Florida, where she will talk about the process behind her mixed media fabric art. The lecture will be held on Saturday, May 17th, 2014 at 10:30 a.m. in the Harris Community Auditorium. Click here for more details.
One of Danielle Frankenthal's pieces, "Turbulence #7", will be exhibited in N.A.W.A.'s 125th Anniversary show at the Morris Museum in Morristown, New Jersey from March 20, 2014 through July 21, 2014.
Alex Kanevsky will have a one person exhibition at the Scarfone/Hartley Gallery at University of Tampa. The exhibition will include iconic works from personal collections as well as never before seen paintings. The exhibition runs though March 28th.
Mia Brownell's traveling retrospective, also titled "Delightful, Delicious, Disgusting" Is a ten year survey of paintings from 2003 - 2013. It kicks off at the Hunterdon Art Museum on January 12 and runs through March 9th. Show continues on to Juniata College Museum of Art from April 10-September 13 and then to Housatonic Museum of Art September 25 - November.

I try not to- I find quotations that you hold on to like fortune cookies- are a little empty. You get to know them so well, they become ubiquitous. And principles become rules. Which one should never have. And if you have them, you should break them, because you probably have them because someone else imposed them on you, or you are just forming habits. And that’s no fun at all.

Style Wars, a group exhibition about graffiti, includes painting, drawings, prints, sculpture, video and a site-specific project. Artists featured are Henry Chalfant, Lady K. Fever, Keith Haring, Valeri Larko, Sofia Maldonado, La Pandilla, Rigoberto Torres, Lilly van der Stokker, and Tats Cru. Exhibition runs from July 19, 2012 - June 2, 2013.
