We are excited to be featuring two new artists in our 2018 Summer Showcase. Pennsylvania-born artist Jan Wier has been painting for over 25 years. Always hungry for color, beauty, and harmony in her painting, Jan seeks to re ect the grace notes that people desire in their homes and lives. Jan’s paintings are commonly done on canvas or board, with a luscious use of creamy oil paint. Jan’s painting style is loose and impressionistic, and her goal is to have her artwork bring a beat of joy, color, and light to life.

 

Our second Pennsylvania based artist, Georganna Lenssen, seeks to discover commonality between her inspirations, which are structural, natural, humans, and animals. Their uniqueness, opacities, and iridescences offer a multitude of painterly results. Georganna’s artistic instinct, memory, and sensation merge on her canvases to create a visual language of mark-making, color interaction, and landscapes on the canvas.

 

Also included in the 2018 Summer Showcase, are chosen artists that have exhibited with J. Cacciola • Gallery W previously. A selected number of works by artists such as James Lahey, Tom Palmore, Carole Pierce, Jim Perry, Cathy Hayes, Philip Kennedy-Grant, Diana Gonzalez, Maggie Siner, Otto Duecker, Richard Bunkall, Brent McIntosh and Maeve McCarthy will be displayed.
